About this happenin
On one Sunday each fall, in late September or early October, Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn fills from Fourth Avenue toward the waterfront for the Atlantic Antic. The Atlantic Avenue Local Development Corporation calls it the oldest and largest street festival in the borough. It runs from noon to 6 p.m., rain or shine. Restaurants along the avenue set out tastings and the avenue's own shops bring their goods outside, while vendors from around the world sell crafts and fashion in the roadway. Music runs all day. A kids' block has pony rides, bounce houses, face painting and circus performers.
