Every weekend in June, Wynwood Pride puts drag shows, club nights, pool parties and a pageant into venues across Wynwood, the Miami arts district. It began in 2019 as a festival at the Wynwood Marketplace, put on with the Wynwood Business Improvement District, and has since spread into a month of separate events with no single gate. Each event sells its own tickets, so there is no one admission price. Some are free with an RSVP, others are ticketed at a few dollars up to well past $50. Several nights are 21 and over, and the club nights run late. A few events sit outside Wynwood itself, in Downtown Miami for one. The month has run across four weekends in recent years. The Miss Wynwood Pride pageant and the Big Wig Drag Fest have both been on the calendar.
