From the closest hotels in South Beach, it's an eight-minute walk to the show floor.
More than 600 dealers from over 30 countries sell jewelry, watches, handbags, artwork, furniture and home décor at the Original Miami Beach Antique Show in the Miami Beach Convention Center. They source much of it from auction houses and global estates. Tiffany, Cartier, Patek Philippe and Warhol all appear in the show's own description. The show is open to the public with a paid ticket. Payment is by credit card only, with no cash. Children 17 and under need an adult with them, and strollers are allowed. Bags larger than 12 by 14 by 8 inches stay off the floor, and a storage room in Ocean Ballroom D holds them. Self-parking at the building is listed at $20 a day, and valet at $30. One day is set aside for appraisals: ticket holders can bring a piece to a Bonhams expert and get one valuation free. Talks led by specialists run through the show days at no extra charge.
