About this happenin
The Miami-Dade County Youth Fair is the county's big spring carnival, with 80-plus rides on the midway and, indoors in Arnold Hall and Edwards Hall, tens of thousands of student projects from public, charter, private and home schools. The rides are split between the main area and two kiddie areas. More than 150 stands sell the food, and the carnival games take cash only. Livestock and agricultural competitions run alongside. The fair runs 21 days from mid-March into April at the fairgrounds in Tamiami Park, 10901 SW 24th Street. It is closed on a few weekdays. More than 500,000 people came through in 2025. Five vehicle entrances serve the lot, and rideshare drop-off is at Coral Way and 112th Avenue. The not-for-profit Miami-Dade County Fair & Exposition runs the fair to reward Miami-Dade students, and it gives $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors. Guests 17 and younger have needed a chaperone 21 or older after 5 pm.
