West Hollywood Halloween Carnaval
Santa Monica Blvd & N San Vicente Blvd, West Hollywood, CA 90069
About this happenin
Halloween night in West Hollywood belongs to Santa Monica Boulevard, where the city runs the Halloween Carnaval, a free street party on a one-mile stretch between Doheny Drive and La Cienega Boulevard. It started in 1987. The party runs from 6 to 11 p.m., no ticket needed, and thousands of people in costume crowd the street. The main stage at San Vicente Boulevard has a live DJ and food trucks, and the bars and clubs along the boulevard keep the night going after 11. You can't drink on the street. Leave the backpack and tote bag at home too, since only clear plastic bags get in. Weapons, fireworks and drones are banned. The city asks people not to bring kids or pets. The PickUp and Cityline buses stop their regular service that night, and the free WeHo Halloween Ride runs along Santa Monica Boulevard from 6 p.m. to 3 a.m. instead.
