Pasadena Latino Heritage Parade and Festival
100 N Garfield Ave, Pasadena, CA 91101
About this happenin
A parade heads south on Los Robles Avenue on an October Saturday afternoon and finishes near Pasadena City Hall, and the Latino Heritage Festival picks up there into the evening. The City of Pasadena's Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department presents it with the Pasadena Latino Heritage Committee, and admission is free. On the City Hall grounds there is live music, folklorico dancers, an artisan market, food booths and family activities. Groups apply to march, and an entry has to celebrate Latino history and culture or represent an organization serving the Latino community. Each year brings a new theme and a Grand Marshal. The parade and festival have been running for close to three decades.
More in October: 18 other Los Angeles events.
