NYELA at Gloria Molina Grand Park

About this happenin

At midnight on New Year's Eve the countdown in Downtown Los Angeles moves onto City Hall, where a projection show plays across the building. NYELA is the free party around it in Gloria Molina Grand Park, which the park bills as the biggest free New Year's Eve celebration on the West Coast. Music starts at 8 p.m. on two stages. A Community Block away from the stages is set up for families, with art and smaller performances, and food trucks and snack booths stay open all evening. No ticket is needed, though the park asks for a free RSVP. Every bag is checked at the gates. Coolers, glass, folding chairs, confetti cannons and anything bigger than a standard backpack stay home. Pets are welcome.
