About this happenin
The LA Art Show fills the West Hall of the Los Angeles Convention Center for five days in January with galleries from around the world, and everything on the booth walls is for sale. The organisers describe more than 90 galleries, museums and nonprofit arts groups across 180,000 square feet, showing painting, sculpture, photography, installation and performance. Opening night is a ticketed charity premiere on the first evening, and the public days follow. Outside the booths, DIVERSEartLA gives museums and arts organisations room for installations and performances, and the featured exhibitions are built by participating galleries as shows in their own right. Tickets sell online and at the door. Children need their own ticket from age two. There is no coat or bag check, and cameras are for accredited press only.
