About this happenin
Twice a year, on a Friday evening from 6 to 10 pm, museums, galleries, theaters and music venues across Pasadena open their doors for free. The city's Cultural Affairs Division produces ArtNight with local arts organizations and calls it Pasadena's signature cultural event. Each partner sets its own program, which might be visual art, a reading, dance, music or theater. Smaller artists and ensembles get city MiniGrants to perform at the bigger venues. Free shuttles run four routes between them, North, East, Central and Northwest, and accessible buses run as well. City Hall is one of the venues and a shuttle stop. The spring edition falls in March and the fall one in October.
