About this happenin

A three-day horror convention fills the Houston Marriott Westchase on Briarpark Drive each August. More than 70 horror films screen over the weekend, and a vendor hall holds over 100 artists, authors and sellers of horror memorabilia. Celebrity guests sign autographs and pose for photos at their tables for a fee each guest sets, and Q&A panels run through the weekend. Admission covers the vendor and celebrity rooms and the panels. Kids 12 and under are free with a paid adult, and because of some film content, anyone under 17 needs an adult with them. Parking at the hotel is free.
