About this happenin

On a Saturday early in November, Día de los Muertos USA puts on a Day of the Dead festival and parade in Sam Houston Park, 1100 Bagby Street, downtown. The Heritage Society hosts it there, and it has run since 2021. It starts in the late afternoon and runs into the night, with live music, concessions and arts and crafts. The parade steps off at 7 p.m. Anyone can join it, and traditional attire is recommended.
