About this happenin
Thin Line Fest is a documentary film, music and photography festival held each March in downtown Denton, Texas. Volunteers run it, and the organisers say all programming is free to attend: register online, then pick up a wristband at check-in. A donation is suggested. Thin Line Film, which began in 2007, calls itself the longest-running documentary film festival in Texas and premieres dozens of documentaries a year in the historic Campus Theatre. Music plays on small stages at clubs such as Rubber Gloves and Dan's Silverleaf, and each night ends with a party. Hundreds of photographs hang in galleries around the square. Everything sits within walking distance.
