About this happenin
Radio station KHYI 95.3 The Range has run the Texas Music Revolution, a two-day music festival in historic downtown McKinney, for three decades. Almost 100 Americana, country, red dirt and local bands play on almost 20 stages, indoors and out. KHYI calls it the only festival in North Texas built around chart-topping and emerging Texas Country and Americana acts. The outdoor stages need a ticket, and so do kids 9 and up. Chairs and blankets are fine at the outdoor stages, chairs are not allowed inside the venues, and outside food and drink stay at home. A wristband gets you discounts at participating venues around downtown.
