Irish and Celtic music and dance fill a March weekend at the North Texas Irish Festival, which ran in Dallas for more than 40 years before moving to the North Texas Fairgrounds in Denton. The Southwest Celtic Music Association, run entirely by volunteers, made the move to build what it calls a more cohesive, music-filled festival. The Denton site is mostly outdoors, with covered areas and plenty of tents for the music, shopping, food and drink.
