About this happenin

The Denton Blues Festival puts free live blues on the stage at Quakertown Park in Denton every September. The Denton Black Chamber of Commerce runs it, and the Trinity River Blues Society is an ongoing partner. Families spread out lawn chairs while bands play from morning until night. Food, art and craft vendors set up around the park, and organisers pitch it as a family day, with kids dancing in front of the stage. Parking is free around the park. The organisers point drivers to the Denton Civic Center lot at 321 E. McKinney St.
