Dia de Muertos at the Bath House and Latino Cultural Centers
521 E. Lawther Dr., Dallas, TX 75218
About this happenin
Every fall the galleries of the Bath House Cultural Center, on the eastern shore of White Rock Lake at 521 E. Lawther Drive in Dallas, fill with a Día de Muertos exhibition of art and altar installations. Artists from Dallas and across the country make the work to remember people who have died. Cora Cardona, founder of Teatro Dallas, brought the show to the center, and it has run for four decades. The exhibition and its opening reception with the artists are free. Gallery hours are noon to 6 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday. The Latino Cultural Center at 2600 Live Oak Street holds its own Día de los Muertos Festival on a Saturday in late October.
More in October: 17 other Dallas-Fort Worth events.
