About this happenin

Asia Times Square in Grand Prairie hosts the Asian Heritage Fest each May for Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. It runs Friday to Sunday. The Friday program starts in the evening, and Saturday and Sunday go from the afternoon into the night. The stage carries traditional and contemporary performances, with lion dances and martial arts demonstrations. Street food vendors have sold pork skewers, glazed candy, steamed buns and croffles, and other stalls have sold jewelry and hand-sewn flowers. Entry and parking are free, and the organiser recommends bringing cash. The City of Grand Prairie is the presenting sponsor.
