About this happenin

Anime Frontier is a three-day anime and manga convention at the Fort Worth Convention Center, held each December. LeftField Media, the company behind Anime NYC, produces it. The exhibit hall and Artist Alley open on Friday afternoon and close Sunday afternoon, and panels run until 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Destination Cosplay puts the Cosplay Masquerade on the Main Stage, and Wild West Idol Fest is a concert-style showcase of idol acts. Tabletop role-playing adventures run all weekend, and a Japanese arcade in the exhibit hall is set to free play. Ribbon Rodeo and Pinpalooza are trading games, with fans swapping badge ribbons and collectible pins at daily meetups. Anime Frontier Jr. gives kids a free play area with a train table, plus craft workshops run by local partners. Badges come as three-day and single-day tickets, and a Premium AF tier sits above them.

More in December: 13 other Dallas-Fort Worth events.
