Open studios and galleries line the Ravenswood Industrial Corridor on Chicago's North Side for the Ravenswood ArtWalk, a September weekend along Ravenswood Avenue from Lawrence south to Irving Park Road. Visitors get inside working artist studios and manufacturing businesses and see the corridor's industrial architecture on the way. The Greater Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce presents it, and it has been held since 2001. The outdoor arts market at Ravenswood and Berteau brings together more than 80 local makers, with two stages of live music, a pop-up beer garden, food trucks and a children's corner. Indoor arts markets inside local businesses add guest artists. Admission is free and the chamber asks for a donation. Dogs are welcome at the outdoor market, but each indoor stop decides for itself, so ask at the door.
