About this happenin
Since 2003, antiques and vintage dealers have gathered for Randolph Street Market in Chicago's West Loop, at 1341 W Randolph St and inside the Beaux Arts Plumbers Hall at 1340 W Washington. It calls itself America's largest urban antiques market. The Holiday Market takes one weekend in November and another in December. About 125 dealers fill the hall with vintage decor and ornaments, estate jewelry, designer fashion, mid-century furniture, vinyl and rare books. Saturday runs 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday 10 to 5. An Early Buy hour opens Saturday at 9, and part of the money from those tickets goes to the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boys & Girls Club. DJs play through the weekend, and the Market Bistro serves food all day. Children 12 and under always get in free. The on-site surface lot is free, though it is closed for the May to September markets.
