About this happenin
North Coast Music Festival is a three-day electronic music festival on Labor Day weekend at SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview, about 30 minutes outside Chicago. The grounds are the stadium's renovated campus, with a full-field practice dome and seven fields of padded turf, so the crowd dances on grass instead of the usual festival mud. There are six stages. The Ferris wheel takes a ticket of its own. There is no camping and no re-entry. Anyone driving needs a parking pass, and cars can't stay overnight. Without a car, ride the CTA Orange Line to Midway and catch Pace bus 386, or buy a shuttle pass. The bus only helps on the way in: leave after 7 p.m. and the trip back to Midway is a rideshare. Backpacks stay home. Clear bags and hand-sized clutches are fine, and everyone shows a government photo ID at the gate. See Tickets sells the passes, and Tixel is the official fan-to-fan resale exchange.
