Division Street between Damen and Leavitt (2000 to 2200 W) becomes the Do Division Street Fest for a June weekend in Chicago's West Town. Two stages are booked by local clubs: Empty Bottle Presents programs the east stage and Subterranean programs the west. Restaurants, food trucks, West Town shops and local artists line the street. Family Fun Fest has balloon animals, a mega slide and kids' music on its own stage, and Do Fashion puts runway shows on the same weekend. Well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome. A $10 donation is suggested at the gate, though the chamber says it is not required because the event is in the public way, and it helps cover the cost of the event, with proceeds going to local nonprofits. Street parking is not metered but nothing is set aside. Bike parking is at Damen and Division.
