C2E2, short for the Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo, is a three-day pop culture convention in the South Building at McCormick Place. ReedPop, which runs it, calls it the largest in the Midwest and the only one in the heart of downtown Chicago. Comics, cosplay, gaming, anime, authors and wrestling all get space, and Artist Alley is part of the weekend. A general admission badge gets you onto the show floor, where more than 1,200 exhibitors and creators have booths. Panels and late-night After Dark parties are included too. Celebrity photo ops and autographs cost extra and are bought separately. Anyone aged six and up needs a ticket, and kids from 6 to 12 buy a kids ticket. Minors under 16 must come with a parent or guardian.
