Every Sunday morning, Branch Park at Mueller fills with more than 120 producer-only vendors selling Hill Country peaches, pasture eggs, cut flowers, and vegetables grown within 150 miles of Austin. Manager-inspected and grower-direct, it has been voted the city's favorite market by Austin Chronicle readers for 13 years running. Know before you go: admission is free, and the market runs 10am to 2pm rain or shine. Park in the Texas Mutual, Simond, or McBee garages, or find free street parking nearby. Families are welcome, with kids' activities on the second Sunday of each month. Bring a tote or two for hauling your finds; SNAP and WIC are accepted, and Double Up Food Bucks matches produce spending up to $30.
