On the Erwins View Trail at Linville Falls, 1.6 miles round trip, you first see the lower of the two falls from Chimney View, a steep climb, and the last overlook takes in both the upper and lower falls from a distance. The falls are down a spur road at milepost 316 on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Since Hurricane Helene the only facilities on site are portable toilets. Weekdays are quieter.
