Most visitors to Little Talbot Island State Park, about 17 miles northeast of Jacksonville on A1A, use the beach north of Crossover 1 by the parking area. Walk north and you pass terns, stilts, gulls and ghost crabs. If you camp, the 20 sites are across A1A, about half a mile from the sand, and mostly shaded.
