About this happenin
A giant, glowing strawberry comes down from a crane as midnight approaches on New Year's Eve in downtown Plant City. Historic Plant City Main Street, the downtown nonprofit, dropped the first one to welcome 2025, and getting in is free. There's live music, and a DJ runs the main stage. Food trucks and other vendors set up for the night, and local trucks get first claim on a spot. Truck spaces have been split by cuisine: Filipino, pizza, vegan, Asian, Latin, Caribbean, dessert and wings. VIP tables are sold separately. Kids get their own free zone, with inflatables and games that give out prizes.
More in December: 16 other Tampa Bay events.
