Under the Sulphur Springs water tower each March, the Florida Brewers Guild gathers more than 70 Florida breweries and roughly 200 beers to open Tampa Bay Beer Week. River Tower Park fills with tents, food trucks, craft vendors and a DJ, and admission includes a commemorative sampling glass you carry from table to table. Nobody under 21 gets in. General admission covers 2pm to 5pm, rain or shine, and VIP adds an hour of early pouring plus a shaded area with tables and chairs. Parking is free, but organizers push hard for a rideshare or a sober driver, and a cheaper designated driver ticket gets that driver in without the pours. You can bring a picnic chair but not a cooler, and leashed dogs are welcome.
