Every Saturday, more than 100 vendors fill the brick-paved Downtown Pavilion for the Winter Garden Farmers Market, named among the best in Florida and the country. Know before you go: the market runs 8am to 1pm, and admission is free. Expect locally grown produce, baked goods, gourmet provisions, jewelry, artwork, apparel and artisan crafts, with live music playing each week. Parking is free throughout downtown, including the three-level, 160-space garage at 160 S. Boyd Street next to the market, plus street parking along West Plant Street and the City Hall lot. The market is family-friendly, with the Downtown Interactive Fountain and Butterfly Sculpture Park close by. Well-behaved leashed dogs and cats are welcome, with leashes capped at eight feet. EBT and SNAP benefits are accepted, and some vendors take Fresh Access Bucks. Come early for the freshest produce and easiest parking before the mid-morning crowd arrives.
