About this happenin
The German American Society has thrown this Oktoberfest in Casselberry since 1963, in an actual Biergarten with a maypole, and it runs noon to 9pm on October 3 and again on October 24. Nine German taps, from Hofbrau Oktoberfest to Schofferhofer grapefruit, live bands and Trachten dancers on the pavilion, and an air-conditioned Alpine clubhouse for when the Florida half of Florida Oktoberfest wins. Tickets are $7 in advance, $10 at the gate, and kids 11 and under get in free. The club has no parking of its own, so get dropped at the Melody Lane walk-in entrance instead of circling Orange Lane.
