About this happenin
On the first Saturday of August, 8th and Montrose Streets close to traffic for Clermont's Family Food Fest, a downtown street party built around food trucks and local makers. Know before you go: admission is free, and the fest runs 4 to 8 PM, with over 30 food trucks, more than 40 craft and goods vendors, and a live band playing on the City Hall lawn. Parking is free at the City Center and Minneola Avenue lots, both a short walk from the action. It is squarely family friendly, with face painting, games, and the occasional petting zoo, and leashed pets are welcome to join the stroll. Come hungry, plan to graze, and let the evening cool as the music plays.
