Urbanspace puts nearly 200 vendors into Union Square Park for its holiday market, which opens in mid-November and runs to Christmas Eve. The organiser fills it with local craftspeople and small businesses, so a lot of the gifts on the tables were made by the person selling them, and stalls of artisan food sit among them. It is steps from the 14th Street subway station at Broadway, and Urbanspace says it was named the best holiday market in America in 2023. The same company runs the Holiday Shops at Bryant Park's Winter Village and the Columbus Circle market, so one December afternoon can take in all three.
