About this happenin

Corn husking contests and square dancing set the tone at the Queens Agricultural Fair, which the Queens County Farm Museum holds on its farm on Little Neck Parkway one weekend each fall. The Blue Ribbon competitions judge home-grown vegetables, baked goods and more. Live music and theatre fill the main stage and the family entertainment tents. Classic carnival rides and merry-go-rounds run all day, with local craft and food vendors set up around the grounds. Tickets have to be bought online before you go. The fair goes ahead rain or shine unless the weather turns severe. Parking on the farm is free, and strollers and bottled water are allowed in. Hayrides cost extra, as do food and beer.
