Kenner's Magical Christmas Village

Sudsy "snow" blows across the grounds of Heritage Park in the evening for the children at Kenner's Magical Christmas Village, the City of Kenner's December display at 2015 Fourth Street in Rivertown. The lights are on every night from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., and it is free to walk through. Fridays and Saturdays are the nights to pick. Local vendors set up with food and crafts, Santa makes an appearance, and school dance teams and choirs perform in the park. The village opens around the first of December, sometimes a day or two early, and the city posts the exact opening night and the weekend performers each fall. In 2017 it was at Kenner City Park with an ice rink. It has been at Heritage Park since at least 2023.
