Delou Africa turns Florida Memorial University into three days of African and Caribbean dance, drumming and song for DanceAfrica Miami 2026. Know before you go: most of the festival runs free, including the Saturday Children's Village of folktales, kids' dance and drum circles from noon to 3 p.m. Workshops led by teaching artists from eight countries fill the weekend, Friday evening from 6:30, Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. A global bazaar, food trucks and a health fair round out the grounds. It is built for families, so bring the kids, water and comfortable shoes for the drum-driven dance sessions.
