On the fairgrounds of the Miami-Dade County Fair & Expo Center, at Coral Way and SW 112th Avenue, Cuba Nostalgia recreates Havana landmarks, El Floridita, the Catedral de la Habana, Club Tropicana and the Paseo del Prado among them. It is a celebration of Cuban heritage, held over a weekend around the middle of May. Tickets are sold online and at the gate, and $25 a person was listed at the door for a recent edition. Doors open at 11 a.m. and the music runs into the late evening. The phone number is (305) 222-2226. Exhibits and memorabilia sit next to a food hall, and Cuban musicians play on stage both days. Each edition gets its own artist poster. There is a tobacco factory and a car exhibition too, plus a Woolworth store and a domino park.
