Salsa and reggaeton play live from noon to 10 p.m. at the Puerto Rican and Cuban Festival, an October Saturday at Pearland Town Center, 11200 Broadway Street in Pearland. The food is Spanish Caribbean, with signature cocktails to go with it. Ferrer Productions has run it since 2007 and counts more than 20,000 attendees. Tickets are sold through Eventbrite. Artisan and food vendors rent 10-by-10-foot kiosks, and non-profits sharing their work with Houston's Caribbean community get a space of their own.
