On Saturday evenings Discovery Green turns its Grace Event Lawn into Flea by Night, an open-air market in the 12-acre park in downtown Houston. Local makers, artists, plant vendors and small businesses bring vintage finds and handmade goods, and food trucks park alongside them. There is music. The park runs it to give Houston's small businesses and makers a place to be found. Sessions go from 6 to 10 p.m., about once a month in spring and fall. A Holiday Flea by Night has run on Saturdays from late November into December. Sellers apply through the park.
