About this happenin
The South Street Art Festival sets up on East South Street in Downtown Arlington for one weekend in April, Friday afternoon through Sunday. Up to 100 artists, some local and some from out of state, sell original work there across 14 categories, and it is the longest running fine art festival in Downtown Arlington's cultural arts district. Local and regional bands play all weekend, and visitors can bring lawn chairs for the music. Outside coolers are not allowed. Leashed dogs are welcome. Admission is free, and so is parking on downtown streets and in the garages.
