About this happenin

Rockwall marks its birthday every May with the Founders Day Festival, a free, family-friendly Saturday in Downtown Rockwall and Harry Myers Park. The day starts downtown, where the Rockwall Farmers Market opens in the morning and the Downtown Association sponsors a wine walk. From early afternoon into the night, Harry Myers Park has bounce houses, live animal shows, a vendor fair of local makers and community groups, and a food court, with bands on the main stage in the evening. A free trolley runs between The Center downtown and the park. If the weather turns, the city makes the call on the evening of the concert and posts it on the Parks and Recreation Facebook page.
