Holidays & ParadesDallas MLK Day Parade
Ticketed

Garland's Labor Day Parade has gone through downtown on Labor Day morning since the 1940s, and the Noon Exchange Club of Garland runs it now. Bands, cheerleaders and drill teams from the Garland ISD high schools march with youth groups, police and fire crews and local leaders. In recent years it has stepped off at 9 a.m. from Glenbrook Drive and Avenue F, gone north to Main Street, east to Sixth, north to State Street, then east to Fifth and north to the Granville Arts Center. That takes it along the old blocks of Main Street and past the Downtown Square. Grandstand seating goes up on State Street.
