About this happenin
Artes de la Rosa has put on Dia de los Muertos en Fort Worth, a parade and festival in the city's Historic North Side, for more than two decades. The City of Fort Worth and Visit Fort Worth are among its partners. In the morning the parade sets off from North Main Street and Central Avenue and heads north toward the Stockyards. The festival follows at Marine Park until late afternoon, with food, visual artists, face painting, mariachis, ballet folklorico and opera. The organisers call it a celebration of loved ones. It is free, and they suggest bringing a lawn chair.
