About this happenin

Dallas Pride brings its festival and parade to downtown Dallas, after several years at Fair Park. The Festival of Rainbows spreads over four parks: the main street festival at Main Street Garden Park, a community festival at Pacific Plaza, Teen Pride and Family Pride at Harwood Park, and a parade festival with a VIP experience at Pegasus Plaza. The Sunset Parade on Main marches down Main Street as the sun goes down. It follows the route of the city's first Pride parade in 1972, when 250 to 300 marchers drew a crowd of about 3,000. Dallas Pride is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, planned by a volunteer steering committee.
