Wintrust Winter WonderFest is Navy Pier's indoor holiday fair, set up inside Festival Hall from late November into early January. Past editions have set thrill rides such as the Cliffhanger and Zero Gravity next to a kiddie train under a 42-foot holiday tree, with live music on the Winter Wonder Stage. Skating on the indoor rink comes with every ticket. Doors open at 10 a.m. Most weekend nights run to 10, and many weekdays end at 5. Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve close early, and it is closed on Christmas Day. Tickets are sold for a set date. General admission is $27 online at least 24 hours ahead and $32 after that or at the door, and children 2 and under get in free. A Centennial Wheel ride can be added for $10, good on the same day.
