Doc10 Film Festival

About this happenin

Ten documentaries, chosen from the major film festivals, make up Doc10, a festival at the Davis Theater in Lincoln Square with more screenings at the Gene Siskel Film Center in the Loop. The Chicago Media Project, a Chicago nonprofit that funds and presents nonfiction film, started it in 2016 to bring those films to its hometown. Each film premieres once and is followed by a Q&A, with filmmakers and special guests in the room. CMP works with community partners and grassroots groups on the issues the films raise. Seats are general admission unless marked reserved, and tickets can be passed to a friend. When a film is listed as waitlist only, rush tickets go on sale at the theater about 15 minutes before it starts.
