Chicago Latino Film Festival
2828 N Clark St, Chicago, IL 60657
About this happenin
The Chicago Latino Film Festival takes over the Landmark Century Centre Cinemas at 2828 N. Clark Street every April. The International Latino Cultural Center of Chicago runs it and calls it the longest-running Latino film festival in the United States. Recent editions have put close to 100 films on the program across more than 200 screenings, with special events on opening and closing night. Tickets are sold on the festival's website or at the cinema on the day of the screening, and a Film Passport bundles ten tickets for less than the box office price. Validated four-hour parking costs $6 in the Century Shopping Centre lot, entered from Clark Street, and every screening room is wheelchair accessible. It began in 1985 with 14 films projected onto a concrete wall for an audience of 500.
More in April: 6 other Chicago events.
