Every Saturday, Centennial Park fills with produce stands, cigar sellers, and local makers in the heart of Ybor City's brick-paved historic district. Know before you go: admission is free and pets are welcome. Summer hours run 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. from May through September, then shift to 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. October through April. Wander the rows for fresh citrus, baked goods, potted plants, handmade jewelry, soaps and candles, and one-of-a-kind art you can buy straight from the person who made it. The market has operated continuously since 2000 and bills itself as the largest ongoing outdoor market in the Tampa Bay area. Bring a tote for whatever you carry home, and come early on summer Saturdays before the 1 p.m. close.
