Galaxy Lights at Space Center Houston
1601 E NASA Parkway, Houston, TX 77058
About this happenin
Space Center Houston, on NASA Parkway, turns its grounds into a space-themed holiday light show called Galaxy Lights on select nights from mid-November into early January. It runs from 6 to 10 p.m., after the center's daytime hours. Tickets are sold until 9 p.m., and the center suggests about 90 minutes for the full walk. Most of the displays are outdoors, and the ticket also gets you into the center's exhibitions, though NASA Tram Tours and the Starship Gallery are closed on Galaxy Lights nights. Prices change by the night and go up on the busiest ones. Children 3 and under are free. Sensory-Friendly Nights, with lower lighting and fewer effects, are discounted, and so are groups of 20 or more. If severe weather closes the show, the ticket is good on any other Galaxy Lights night that season. The center posts each night's status on its page at 4 p.m.
More in November: 8 other Houston events.
