About this happenin
Asia Times Square in Grand Prairie celebrates the Mid-Autumn Festival with a free three-day party in its outdoor plaza at 2625 West Pioneer Parkway. Also called the Moon or Mooncake Festival, the holiday falls on the fifteenth day of the eighth lunar month, when the moon is at its fullest. The center bills it as a family event, and entry and parking cost nothing. Past years have brought live music, lion dancing, street food and mooncakes, a lantern competition, and goodie bags of lanterns and games for children.
