The Fort Worth Food + Wine Festival fills Heart of the Ranch at Clearfork, 5000 Clearfork Main Street in Fort Worth, for four days in April, Thursday to Sunday. There is one event a day, sold separately: Tacos + Tequila, The Main Event, Fork + Fire and The Big Brunch. A ticket covers all the food and drink you can responsibly put away, from chefs and restaurants in Fort Worth and around Texas. The Main Event and Fork + Fire have a live-fire cooking area. The Big Brunch has gospel music. Every event is 21 and over, with no children or infants. It runs rain or shine and all sales are final. Events usually sell out ahead, so there are no tickets at the gate, and a single event has drawn as many as 1,300 people. The first festival was in 2014 downtown, at The Worthington Hotel and in Sundance Square. It has had its home under the live oaks at Clearfork since 2018. Proceeds go to the Fort Worth Food + Wine Foundation, a nonprofit that pays for culinary scholarships and equipment grants for high school programs.
